Season’s greetings from the snowy slopes of Fernie Alpine Resort and the Cornerstone Lodge.
Fresh snow over the past week has meant the ski resort has good coverage on the mountain, particularly on the upper sections. The mountain has decided to get into the Christmas spirit with special visits from Santa Claus planned for December 23rd & 24th. Don’t forget that night skiing on the Mighty Moose (right out our front door) starts on December 26th right through until January 3rd.

The Griz Inn, our sister property, now features two great new dining options:
Rusty Edge Restaurant: The new Rusty Edge Restaurant located in the Griz Inn is now open daily from 11 am – late night. Their menu features a variety of delicious items including their French Onion Poutine and Switch Back Beef Dip.
Big Bang Bagels: Fernie’s popular bagel shop is now operating a “little bang” outlet within the Rusty Edge Restaurant space. Open daily from 8 am serving up tasty bagels while the lift are running!
