Fernie Alpine Resort opened with a bang this past weekend. You could hear lots of whoops and yahoos as skiers and snowboarders descended through the powdery conditions at Fernie Alpine Resort. We’re very much looking forward to another fun and snowy season here on the mountain.
Our team has been working hard to prepare for this winter season and you will note a few operational changes when you join us for a vacation at the Cornerstone Lodge:
- Key Fob pick-up via lockboxes located right at the Cornerstone Lodge. We have worked with the building strata corporation to install convenient lockboxes at the plaza entrance of the Cornerstone Lodge. Guests no longer have to visit the Griz Inn lobby to pick-up unit keys and can now go directly to the Cornerstone Lodge to pick up their unit keys. - Digital Concierge. With the transition to a new property management system and the moving our our operations office to downtown Fernie, we are now offering an easy, on-line and contactless process for our guests. From booking, to payment, to check-in, to inquiries during the stay, guests can complete all of these processes conveniently on-line via email, text or phone. Want to still deal with a live person? Not to worry, we still maintain a satellite office next door in the Griz Inn and staff are on-call 24-7 to attend to any special needs you may have.
We hope these changes will make our guests stay even more convenient and seamless. If you would like to join us for a December or January getaway on the slopes of Fernie Alpine Resort, the Cornerstone Lodge still has availability with our accommodations and we are offering fantastic rates on lodging.
